The Partnership for Research with African Newcomers (PRAN) aims to reshape immigration research and services through the lens of inclusivity. Through our multidisciplinary, cross-sectoral collaboration, we conduct innovative research, develop viable strategies, and enhance capacity to empower SSAIs and promote their success in Canada.
Led by Dr. Philomina Okeke-Ihejirika, the Partnership was born out of a collective vision shared by over 24 diverse partners, representing various sectors, such as:
PRAN is co-funded by PRAN partners and a $2.5 million Partnership Grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
